Accessing Christian Education

Davenport Christian School’s doors are open to all families who desire a Christ-centered education, attend a Bible-believing church, meet all enrollment requirements, and support the mission of our school.

If you desire a Christian education for your family, don't assume you can't afford it. We have families of all income levels and financial resources represented at our school. In fact, the majority of families choosing Davenport Christian School consider themselves middle income – not millionaires.

Families who want a Christian education for their child will not be turned away from our school due to finances. Here are some of the ways we help make Davenport Christian School accessible to our families:

ESAs (Education Savings Accounts)

Parents may be eligible to apply for ESA grants (currently $7,826 per student) they can use towards their child’s tuition and fees at an accredited private school. By the 2025-26 school year, all Iowa students will be eligible for these ESA grants, regardless of family income.

Payment plan

We bill tuition in 2 installments (it’s not all due at the beginning of the year), making payments manageable for our families. Other payment plans are also available. We want to work with you to find the plan that is best for your family. 

Family Support

Many people see Christian education as a valuable investment and are eager to walk alongside this mission by providing financial support. Anyone can put money towards your tuition payments or purchase TRIP to benefit your child. 

Prayer

Above all, we encourage you to pray about this decision. God’s Word calls us to pray as a means of seeking His solutions in all situations. Pray as you make a major decision and seek to discern His will (James 1:5).
